Attending the Middle Child Writers’ Group sharings elsewhere in the festival, and want to understand how they came to be?
Look no further. This relaxed taster session gives you a feel for how Middle Child’s introduction to playwriting group works, what to expect and whether it’s the right fit for you.
Led by our brilliant course facilitator and acclaimed playwright Tom Wells, you’ll take part in a short writing exercise, hear from past participants and get a sense of the supportive environment Tom creates for emerging writers.
Whether you’re completely new to playwriting or looking to sharpen your voice, this session is a great way to dip your toe in and ask any questions before applying to the next group in 2026.
